Why dads, why now?

There are many good reasons to work with dads, granddads, step dads and other father figures but these are our top three:

1. Dads tell us it's important

The Minister for Children, Beverley Hughes, wants good practice in engaging with fathers to be mainstreamed throughout publicly funded programmes.
The passing of the Equality Act 2006 introduced a new gender duty requiring public bodies to take into account the different needs of men and women to ensure equality of opportunity when preparing policies or providing services.
